Six Houthi rebels were killed Tuesday in clashes with government forces in Yemen’s southwestern Taiz province, according to a Yemeni military commander.
Houthi militants attacked three military positions in al-Quhayfah district in the province and temporarily seized them, triggering clashes with army forces, Col. Hamid al-Khlidi, told Anadolu Agency.

Front line sources report that clashes between BA’s 219th LIR and the combined forces of KIA battalions 36 & 38 took place in Muse township between Man Kang and Yihku villages at 7:30 pm on March 24.
The same day around 10 am, fighting also broke out near Lashap village in Mung Baw, and BA forces from Man Pying bombarded KIA positions with 120mm mortars to give their troops cover.

The Israeli army said it bombed a Hamas military compound in the Gaza Strip early Sunday after a number of Palestinians allegedly breached the Gaza border fence and set fire to an army vehicle.
No injuries were reported in the incident, which comes days before mass Palestinian protests are set to take place along the Israel-Gaza border.

Congo’s military said on Saturday it had killed 13 militiamen during clashes with an unidentified group after coming under attack in the country’s volatile northeastern Ituri province.
Ituri is the latest part of the Democratic Republic of Congo to descend into bloodshed since President Joseph Kabila’s refusal to step aside at the end of his mandate in 2016 undermined the legitimacy of the state.
