Twin blasts in Afghanistan’s Jalalabad have killed at least 37 people and injured over 100. A spokesperson for the Islamic State terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack, which would make it first attack by the Islamic State in Afghanistan.
Most of those injured in the two blasts in Jalalabad are in a critical condition and casualties are expected to increase, according to Inamullah Miakhel, spokesperson for Afghanistan’s Health Department.

A battle took place between KIA’s 38th Battalion troops and a combined force of Burmese army’s 313rd and 416th Light Infantry Regiments near Bang Sai village in northern Shan State on April 12 at 2:30 pm.

Baloch Liberation Front militants stormed a workers’ camp early Saturday, killing at least 20 sleeping laborers in the southwestern Pakistani province of Balochistan.
District Police officer Imran Qureshi told NBC News at least 40 armed men stormed the camp, checked IDs and killed those not identified as Baloch. Three other workers were injured. The attack happened at a camp built for laborers working on Sohrab Dam in the Gagdan area.
