Afghanistan: Airstrikes kill 33 Taliban and militants of ISIS Khurasan group in 3 provinces
A series of airstrikes killed 33 militants of Taliban and ISIS Khurasan groups in Nangarhar, Helmand and Kandahar provinces in the past 24 hours.
The military officials said Friday an airstrike killed 11 militants of ISIS Khurasan group in Deh Bala district of Nangarhar province.
The officials further added a similar airstrike in Deh Bala district of Nangarhar killed 11 Taliban militants while another airstrike in Sherzad district of the province destroyed a car bomb of ISIS Khurasan group.
An airstrike in Nahr-e Saraj district of Helmand killed 3 Taliban militants and destroyed a small cache of weapons, the officials said, adding that airstrikes in Lashkargah district of the province killed 5 more Taliban militants.
