Yemen: 26 killed and 9 wounded in Saudi airstrike in the capital
The strike, which was launched on a populated market, decimated a hotel complex and left many killed and injured.
According to reports, an airstrike launched by a Saudi jet, that struck Alaf market in Sana’a, killed 26 and left 9 others wounded.
Reports suggest that the victims of the attack were male and it remains unclear whether they were civilians or militants.
Initial reports estimated that 17 had been killed and 6 wounded in the Saudi airforce strike on the market. The strike targeted the popular “Locanda” hotel and nearby shops.
