Iraq: 10 Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) members killed in Turkish airstrikes on Kurdistan borders
Bombardment by the Turkish warplanes on Sunday claimed the lives of 10 members of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in bordering areas of the Kurdistan Region.
Citing a statement by Turkish army, Anadolu news agency reported the bombs hit Sinaht and Haftanin areas, close to the town of Zakho.
The report further stated that the targeted members intended to launch operations in Turkey and were struck based on strict intelligence information.
