Somalia: Fighting between al-Shabaab members in Bardera town
A fierce fighting has occurred at Bardera town in Gedo region. This was after a fierce engagement broke up between members of al-Shabaab militia.
The town has not been liberated yet and is in the hands of al-Shabaab for now.
The fighting begun when two (Amirs) leaders, both from al-Shabaab disagreed with a decision to impose a curfew in the region.
One Amir declined the orders and started firing at the Amirs troops.
For now, the casualties resulting from the battle is not known and al-Shabaab have not released any statement about the incident.
