Somalia: In Mogadishu more than 230 civilians killed and at least 400 wounded in last 2 weeks
More than 230 civilians have been killed and at least 400 wounded in Mogadishu in last two weeks in fightings between somali government troops and islamic rebels al-Shabaab.
United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (Unhcr) launched the alarm. “Fightings in these last two weeks between transitional’s government and al-Shabaab caused the death of more than 230 civilians and caused at least 400 wounded and 23 thousands displaced”, Unhcr has explained, that has talked about a continuous “deterioration” of situation in the capital.
According estimates of Onu agency, more than 200 thousand people fled their own house this year.
