Yemen: Monday army has begun clearing Saada city from Houthi rebels
Security sources told Almotamar.net on Monday that units of the Central Security and others from the armed forces have on Monday started a large-scale operation for clearing the city of Saada from the terrorist elements that have been taking mosques and citizens’ houses their strongholds.
The sources added that the operation was done in residential areas of Al-Rout, Al-Shaab, Al-Jarba and Bab Najran after evacuation of citizens from their houses through call with loudspeakers.
The sources added that the operation, up to now, resulted in killing a number of terrorists and the surrender of 25 of their elements to armed forces.
