A Kosovo policeman seriously injured during a border clash on Monday night has died.
The 31-year-old officer was shot in the head when a police convoy came under fire in a Serb dominated area.
The violence occurred during a botched bid by Kosovo’s ethnic Albanian government to take control of two border posts in an ethnic Serb area.
The Norwegian man charged with the attacks in and near Oslo that killed over 90 people has admitted “to the facts” of the case, the police and his lawyer said on Sunday, and says he acted alone in a strike eerily foretold in a detailed manifesto calling for a Christian war to defend Europe against the threat of Muslim domination.
But “he is not admitting criminal guilt,” the acting police chief in Oslo, Sveinung Sponheim, told a news conference, and his claim to have acted alone contrasted with “some of the witness statements,” Reuters reported.
Twin shooting and bomb attacks have left at least 17 dead in Norway after a gunman disguised as a policeman opened fire at a youth camp and a bomb blast tore through government buildings.
Many were also reported wounded overnight from the expolsion in central Oslo and the shooting at a summer school meeting of Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg’s ruling Labour Party on an island outside the capital.
Authorities were reeling, with police saying they had no clue who or what was behind the attack, but the gunman behind the shooting had been arrested.
Residents of Vedeno district of the CE Province of Nokhchicho (aka Chechnya/Ichkeria) report that several major fightings between the Mujahideen groups and Kadyrov’s minions, in which the minions suffered serious losses, have taken place during the past two weeks. The fightings in the Vedeno district are continuing.
According to puppet structures as reported by a website of human rights activists, groups of minions a “Road Patrol Regiment # 2” gang, “police departments” from Vedeno, Shali, Nozhai-Yurt and Kurchaloi districts and a gang called “Yug (South)”, are participating in the battles with the Mujahideen.
Terrorists killed 13 soldiers and wounded seven others in an ambush that marked the worst attack since the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) ended a cease-fire in February.
The state-run Anatolia news agency reported on Thursday that two of the wounded soldiers are in critical condition. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan immediately called a meeting in Ankara with army and intelligence chiefs as well as the interior minister and the head of the paramilitary gendarmerie.
