The Yinmabin District People’s Defence Force (PDF) under the National Unity Government (NUG) released a statement on 19 February calling on those living in Yinmabin District hold weapons issued by the Burma National Revolutionary Army (BNRA) to promptly contact their respective district or township People’s Defence Organisation (PDO or Pa Ka Pha) units and surrender the firearms and related equipment.
Ward, village-tract, and sub-township-level PDO and People’s Administration Teams operating in Yinmabin District have also been advised to coordinate with district and township PDO officials if any BNRA members are found in their respective areas.

Over 80 Pakistani militants, police personnel, and those from intelligence agencies, and counter-terrorism units have been killed in “Operation Herof Phase II”, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed in a statement issued on January 31.
In a statement, the BLA claimed that its fighters carried out a series of coordinated attacks across multiple districts of Balochistan, describing the operation as “Operation Herof Phase II.”

Indian security forces have killed 16 Maoist rebel fighters, including a senior commander, in the eastern state of Jharkhand, as authorities intensify efforts to crush the long-running insurgency.
According to an international news agency, more than 10,000 people have died in the decades-old conflict waged by the guerrillas, who say they are fighting for the rights of marginalised Indigenous communities in mineral-rich regions of India.

Cambodia accused Thailand on Monday of striking deep inside its territory, bombing the province that is home to the centuries-old Angkor temples — the country’s top tourist draw — for the first time in a reignited border conflict.
Five days of fighting in July killed dozens of people before a truce was brokered and then broken within months, part of a long-standing conflict rooted in the colonial-era demarcation of the countries’ 800-kilometre frontier.

At least three members of the New People’s Army (NPA) were killed in a firefight with government forces in the mountains of Pange village in Jaro, Leyte, early Monday, the Philippine Army reported.
Brig. Gen. Pompeyo Jason Almagro, commander of the Philippine Army’s (PA) 802nd Infantry Brigade, said those slain were a squad leader and two members of the squad’s medical unit.
