Yemeni government forces have announced that they have taken control of the Al-Dahida heights and surrounding areas in the eastern part of Al-Jawf governorate as part of the “Dawn of Yemen” military operation.
Military sources told Al Jazeera that the operation was supported by extensive air strikes, with warplanes targeting Houthi positions and supply routes.
The sources added that clashes were still ongoing, supported by drone operations targeting the group’s fortifications and missile-launching platforms.
