Bomb blasts in the Syrian cities of Homs and Damascus have left more than 100 people dead, monitors and state media say.
In Homs, at least 57 people, mainly civilians, were killed in a double car bombing, a monitoring group reported.

Clashes broke out on Saturday between Kurdish fighters from the People’s Protection Units (YPG) and the Islamic State’s (ISIS) militants in northern Raqqa, military sources reported.
The clashes centered in the vicinity of Tishreen Dam in the northwestern countryside of Raqqa, where the YPG and allies from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) repelled an attack by ISIS militants on the strategic dam.

Syria: UN aid reach 5 besieged Syrian areas
The United Nations says convoys carrying “life-saving aid” have reached five besieged areas of Syria.
UN officials said trucks carrying food, medical equipment, and medicine for almost 100,000 people had reached rebel-held Madaya, Muadhamiya, and Zabadani near Damascus, and pro-government northern villages of Foah and Kefraya on February 17.
Yemen: 14 soldiers dead in Aden suicide bombing claimed by Islamic State group
A suicide bomber killed at least 14 soldiers in Aden today, in the latest attack on Yemen’s second city claimed by jihadists of the Islamic State group.
The southern port city has been the headquarters of forces loyal to President Abedrabbo Mansour Hadi and his backers in a Saudi-led military coalition but has seen growing violence by IS and its jihadist rival al-Qaeda.
“A man detonated his explosive vest among soldiers,” a military source said.
