ISIS has claimed responsibility for the terror attack which killed 39 people and injured 69 in a prominent Istanbul nightclub on New Year’s eve.
“In continuation of the blessed operations that Islamic State is conducting against the protector of the cross, Turkey, a heroic soldier of the caliphate struck one of the most famous nightclubs where the Christians celebrate their apostate holiday,” said ISIS in a statement on Monday.
At least two Ukrainian troops have been killed and three injured in the past 24 hours in renewed fighting in eastern Ukraine, a Ukrainian official said Friday.

During the overnight clash in Grozny, they fired at police who tried to stop their vehicle. Police killed four gunmen and captured two others, who have been taken to a hospital.
Militants launched 15 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day.

As noted, in Mariupol direction, the enemy used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms to fire at Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk). Ukrainian positions in Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol) came under 122mm artillery fire.
