Ukrainian Defense Forces are conducting search-and-assault operations in Pokrovsk and fighting in urban areas, the Operation Task Force “East” said on Dec. 7.
In Myrnohrad, Ukrainian forces are holding defensive positions and destroying enemy units on the approaches to the city. To ensure uninterrupted support for Ukrainian units, additional logistical routes to Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad are being organized.
Over the past day, defense forces in the area of responsibility of the East grouping repelled 82 Russian attacks. In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian units stopped 45 assault attempts carried out toward Novyi Shakhtarskyi, Novopavlivka, and in the areas of Hryshyne, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske and Dachne.
